(I'm not very confident about my English I hope all of you could understand what I'm saying xD)
Honestly, I first didn't have big expectations for this game. As a French person I felt a little bit akward about dating Louis 16 and Danton lmao. + the jacket was all pink, that was a kind strange since the French revolution period was a little... bloody ? But I was really wrong, this otoge was so great !!
The heroine's name is Liese (can be changed), she's 16 and lives in Austria since her familly serves the Austrian yard. For some unknown reason, she has been placed on Antonia (Marie-Antoinette, before she came to France)'s service despite the fact that she's a commoner. So Antonia-sama had to marry the France Prince Louis-Auguste, and for a very strange reason Liese is allowed to do the journey with her until the border. But at the border, Antonia collapses and the only way for Austrain to save face is to make of Liese her double with an old medecine keept since a long time ago by the Austrian yard. Liese has now to intend at the wedding with Louis-Auguste while pretenting be Antonia (now Marie-Antoinette).
Characters:
Louis-Auguste/ Louis 16
I first played his route, since I like do the canon at first. Louis is going to become the nekt king, but he really doesn't think he's great for this position. He's aware that his own education in Versaille and cie made him and the rest of the yard blind about commoner's problems. He knows somebody like him who's much in timepiece shouldn't be king, but since he can't change the fact that he's going to be king he tries his best to learn about commoners daily life. He's some kind of a kuudere because of his way of talking with no emotion, but I really enjoyed the character. I also liked how he become to love Liese. He noticed that the Marie-Antoinette at the wedding was Liese and not the actual Marie-Antoinette, but didn't say a word about that. His route isn't very dokidoki kyunkyun since Louis and Liese both decided to keep there feelings aside because of the situation, but I really enjoy how they became close since finally confess T^T.
Lafayette
Lafayette is some kind of a commander at the service of Louis 16 at the begining.
He's also aware of Liese's situation but knows she's not the one to blame since she just obey. He's verry kind (and handsome//SHOTS) and became a great support for Liese, even if he saw her much as a little sister before he had to go in America for 4 years (yay each route of BaraVeri has a jump of 4 years). During theses years, Liese and Lafayette sended letters for each other and then love appeeaaaars UwU I enjoyed to see how the felt for each other, even if the route was also very heartbreaking ahah
Fersen
(the fuckboy//HEADSHOT) uhuh, Fersen is first of all presented as a womanizer capable of seduce anywoman. He looks like a man but has the same age of Liese. He first met Liese when she was "Marie-Antoinette" but reconized her after as Liese. He says be attracted by the "embarrassed Liese who's forced to take Marie-Antoinette's appearence" (wtf). Even if he looks much more like a pervert in the common route, I still like him since he's verry more gentleman-like than I supposed. He's the kind of man who's not really interrest in anything and is looking for some kind of existance meaning and true love, that's why he decided to follow Lafayette to America even if it means be separed from Liese since several years. He's more serious than he looks uwu
Robespierre
LMAO I wasn't exepted Robespierre being a tsundere WHAT DID MY HISTORY TEACHER TEACH ME ? << was my reaction a the common route. It's REAAALY fun to see Robespierre being so tsuntsun toward Liese. I'll ALWAYS remember the fabulous scene where Liese and Robespierre were fighting during dinner and Liese said something like "I'm going to make you like me" because her french isn't perfect so she couldn't choose her words as she wanted and Robespierre totally misunderstood and started blushing LMAO, after that he called her "Rennai baka" UNTIL THE END OF THE END XDDDD BUT even if i laughed a lot because of Roby-tsuntsun, his route stays really serious since he's more about commoner and you know... that thing... Revolution.
Danton
DANTON U PRECIOUS I really loovve Danton since he's sweet af !! He's so kind and felt for Liese at the common route (he's the only one that fast lmao), he's lawyer and want to take the side of the poor, he live at the same appartment with Robespierre (and Liese who is allowed to stay at the appartment in exgange of help in the common route). Danton is like....very in love of Liese and doesn't try to hide it (how precious I really like that kind of chara Q.Q), since Liese is more like "oh no I have to take care of Antonia-sama even if she doesn't want U_U" so she take a looot of time to understand she loves also him. Honestly if I lked Danton's route it's much because I liked Danton as a character but sadly it was not the more interessting.
The common route is verry long, I personnaly really like otome game with long common routes since it allows to show more of the univers and etc. There is also a secret hidden route with Conte Lozère but I didn't really liked it... it was still great but less than the others. As playing order I recommand Louis 16 >> Lafayette >> Fersen >> Danton >> Robespierre >> Lozère
I liked the heroine, what a shame she didn't have her own spirit in game. The OST was great and artworks pretty. The side character was verry great too ! I liked Marie-Antoinette even if she acted as a bitch so many time I wanted to slap her but she's still a great character well writed. The only thing who pissed me off was how it was hard to get the very happy ending because of the "mode point" thing you have to increase while changing cloth I mean... THIS is one the reasons I hate mobage WHY DID YOU PUT THIS IN VITA GAMES OTOMATE ???
(But since I'm french I noticed all mistakes in chapter titles ahah but I forgive wrong spell since the game was great)
