Jacqueline Kennedy and Marie Antoinette inspired Hotel

Let's enter the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square that has recently been refurbished. The whole design is inspired by two women of exception : Queen Marie Antoinette and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.







So what do you think ? Do you feel this Marie Antoinette inspiration ?

Anyway, they say so. There's a baroque style bench seat in the lobby and a Blue Diamond duvet cover.

Ah it is interesting and I didn't know this hotel and design

I don't recognize the Marie-Antoinette inspiration, but it's a nice room

Neither do I. But next time I get to NY I'll have a closer look.

The blue armchair is great.
